IEA was recently awarded a task order under our Technical, Analytical, Administrative, and Security (TAAS) blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to provide Budget and Intelligence-Related Database (BIRD) Web and IT Services in support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSD(I)).
Under this task order, IEA provides operational support to OUSD(I) in the areas relating to system improvements, system maintenance, system conversion, data collection, data correction, data restoration, data access and display, data comparison, report generation, user interface, and documentation. We design, implement, and maintain supporting financial applications, maintain the Hyperion Query software, design and maintain the web portals, post required data to the web portal, and perform tasks required to ensure operation and functionality of the BIRD system.
Specific tasks include database improvement and maintenance; web portal interface; analytic support; system information assurance; web portal development; training; and data research, preparation, and presentation. Additionally, IEA develops and implements web-based solutions for the collection, storage and tracking of data required for the collection of MIP data. We modify database structures, stored procedures, and existing applications to accommodate requirements. We support multiple applications to include Congressional Marks Tracking, Budget Execution Reporting, Query, Access, and Congressional Justification Book Production/Presentation applications.
